February Quarterly – February 10-11, 2017
Welcoming our National President/Grand Exalted Ruler - Michael Zellen and Donna
We do hope you are making plans to attend the February Quarterly Meetings of the Florida State Elks Association at the Florida Elks Youth Camp. The dates of the meetings are February 10-11, 2017. These meetings will include a meeting of the Florida Elks Major Projects Committee!
During the Major Projects Committee meeting on Saturday, we will have the special pleasure of having Grand Exalted Ruler/National President, Michael F. Zellen address the assembly.
Upon your arrival at the camp, we would ask that everyone sign-in at the registration table in the foyer of the NEW State Association/Major Projects offices located in the Grafton Center. Here you will receive an updated agenda for the meetings and any other items that may be available for distribution to individuals or Lodges.
PLEASE NOTE: The Ladies Luncheon with First Lady Donna Zellen has been cancelled due to construction delays with the Smith Conference Center. Ticket purchases will be refunded.
Cabins & RV Spaces
Limited cabin accommodations are available at the camp along with RV space. For inquiries contact Jen Miller at the camp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Friday Night Dinner & Entertainment by ReCreation at the February Quarterly
On Friday night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the Past State Presidents’ Advisory Council is sponsoring a dinner in the main pavilion. The entertainment for the evening will be a performance by ReCreation. Attendees should bring their own refreshments.
All in all, we are planning another great meeting! Please attend and bring with you a fellow Elk or two, perhaps someone that has never been to our camp or a new member! Plan to participate in the various meetings of the Boards and Committees, for it is in these meetings that the work of the Florida State Elks Association takes place. It is also in these meetings that you will hear a lot more detail regarding the operations of our Association and our affiliated companies, so much more than you would hear in the highlight reports at the Major Projects Meeting. All meetings will be held in the Grafton Center and are open to all Elks unless otherwise noted.
8th Annual State BBQ Contest at Eustis Lodge – Saturday of February Quarterly
Featuring a BBQ Pork Ribs Cook-off, a Beef Brisket Cook-off, and a Chili cook-off!
BBQ cook-off information and entry forms will soon be available on the menu at the left.
There is no cover charge to attend the cook-off so please plan to attend!
We are looking forward to seeing you at the February Quarterly!
