937 Easter

An Easter egg hunt complete with games and fun for the kids was held April 9 at Tallahassee Elks Lodge #937. Easter Bunny/Inner Guard, Danny McElroy, greeted the kids and their parents. Face painting was done by member Margo Rosa, and Carol Dobson, Julie Jansen, Karla Jones and Sarah Smith were on hand to help with the festivities.

937 Boy Scouts

Tallahassee Lodge-sponsored Boy Scout Troop #123 spent several hours on a Saturday with shovels and other yard equipment cleaning up some landscaping that was intruding into the lodge parking lot.

Tallahassee Lodge has been the fortunate recipient for more than a year of Burgers and Blues Night in the lounge on the third Mondays where members Brett Wellman and Chris Balding and their acquaintances bring their music to share. The lodge has seen a variety of folks perform, much to the delight of the audience.

A successful fundraising spaghetti dinner was held June 9. Tallahassee Lodge raised $1,000 for the annual trip they sponsor to the Florida Elks Youth Camp for the local Gretchen Everhart School students and their families. The trip this year will be in September.
