Website Contest

I want to thank and congratulate all Florida Elks Lodges that registered in this year's State Lodge Website contest. All did a great job! Websites fell into one of two categories: Independent Free-Standing and Grand Lodge Virtual.

Websites were judged over the course of two weeks by Florida State Elks Association's Director of Marketing and Webmaster, Greg Weis, and Director of Information Technology, Steve Harmon. These gentlemen had the formidable task of selecting first place winners in each category and determining which single Lodge would represent our great state of Florida at the Grand Lodge competition.

All Lodge webmasters are to be commended for the tremendous amount of effort, hard work, and dedication placed in creating and maintaining their website. I encourage all Florida Elk Lodges to participate in this worthy contest in the coming year.

Congratulations to this year's State Website Contest winners:

Free-standing Websites:
First Place: Vero Beach Lodge #1774
Second Place: Jupiter Lodge #2469
Third Place: St. Petersburg Lodge #1224

Virtual Websites:
First Place: Naples Lodge #2010
Second Place: Jacksonville Lodge # 221
Third Place: Cocoa Beach Lodge #2387

Representing Florida at the Grand Lodge competition will be Vero Beach Lodge #1774

Again, congratulations to all and thank you for participating in the website competition.
