Your Commitment to Participate – Your participation is a major part of your role as Treasurer. This includes participating in your Lodge’s events, and events on the State level. This is crucial to set the tone for your Lodge.

Your Commitment to Learn – Always be committed to learn something new. As our world changes, together with technology, we will continue to grow and adapt. It’s important that you are willing to embrace these improvements.

Your Commitment to Your Responsibilities – Within this site, you will read a summary of your responsibilities as Lodge Treasurer. These duties are vital to the fluid operation of your Lodge. We expect you to fulfill your responsibilities and get assistance when needed.

Your Commitment to be Reliable – Our relationship with you is very important to us, as we can easily help one another reach our goals. It’s important that you can be contacted, that your attendance and participation can be counted on, and that you set an example for other members in your Lodge.

Your Commitment to Attend Officer Training – Each year the Florida State Elks Association (FSEA) holds Officer Training. This Training prepares you for the year ahead; and every year you will learn something new! Your Lodge is also expected to budget for this expense.

Support – We are dedicated to supporting your role as Lodge Treasurer. We offer assistance in helping you fulfill your responsibilities.

Training – We strive to improve Lodge Training on every level. Our hope is that by offering this free training, our Lodges are better equipped to achieve their goals! In addition to Officer Training, we will be offering additional training online soon.

Improvements – We work hard to develop new ideas, streamline processes, and to change as technology improves. We continuously adapt to the social and economic climate. Although we expect you to embrace improvements, you can count on us to help you along the way.

Recognition – We are looking for new ways for Treasurers to feel appreciated for their hard work. Future training will provide a way for you to be recognized, with the opportunity to achieve a certification exclusive to Lodge Officers. Recognizing your hard work is important to us and it’s a great way to show our appreciation.

Impact – The Florida State Elks Association is responsible for the operation and funding of its Major Projects. Every effort made at the Lodge level is seen through the lives we help. We are certainly making a difference!
