On Sept. 16, Kissimmee Elks Lodge #1873 held its annual Public Safety Night to honor first responders and corrections departments of Osceola County. Each department selects its own candidate, who is then invited to a dinner at the lodge, where they are presented with a plaque.
Pictured are this year’s recipients — Kissimmee Police Officer Gerardo Bellido, Osceola Sheriff's Department Tactical Flight Officer Keith Mobbley, Pilot George Freeman, Florida Highway Trooper Jose Pauino, Saint Cloud Police Sergeant Garrett Stockdill, Saint Cloud Fire/Rescue Engineer Curtis Lopez, and Osceola County Corrections Care Administrator Christina Vojtecky.
