Our Mission
The mission of the Florida State Elks Association Civil Air Patrol Scholarship is to provide financial support for the educational needs of Florida high school seniors in Civil Air Patrol programs without which they would not be able to achieve their educational goals.
The Florida State Elks Association Civil Air Patrol Scholarship Cadets who have maintained an un-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. We are looking for students who have demonstrated leadership through participation in school activities, community service, and citizenship.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Eligibility:
-
Must be a high school senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher. (Please provide proof of GPA with most recent data available – copy of report card).
- Must be referred by their commanding instructor. (Please provide a letter of recommendation from your JROTC instructors(s).
- Must work well with those they are in command of. (Please provide support in letter of recommendation).
- Must have a great disposition and follow instruction from authority. (Please provide support in letter of recommendation).
- Cadet must enroll in an institution of higher education to be eligible to receive the scholarship.(Please provide support/proof of enrollment in an institution of higher learning).

Must be a dedicated volunteer at their local Elks Lodge and/or at Elks functions.
