Our Mission
The mission of the Florida State Elks Association JROTC Scholarship is to provide financial support for the educational needs of Florida high school seniors in scholastic JROTC programs without which they would not be able to achieve their educational goals.
The Florida Elks JROTC Scholarship is open to JROTC Cadets who have maintained an un-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. We are looking for students who have demonstrated leadership through participation in school activities, community service, and citizenship.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Eligibility:
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship award from the Florida Elks JROTC Scholarship Fund, you must:
- Must be a high school senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Be a resident of the state of
- Be a United States
Students Targeted:
The Florida Elks JROTC Scholarship is open to JROTC Cadets who have maintained an un-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. We are looking for students who have demonstrated leadership through participation in school activities, community service, and citizenship.
Competition:
Boys and girls will compete for identical awards.
Awards and Amounts:
This scholarship is available to one (1) Cadet in each of our 14 Districts. The District Leader will choose the best candidate to represent the District and will turn in their choice to the Committee at the Quarterly Meeting in February. The Committee will choose the TOP Cadet from ALL entries, and a $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to the recipient. The other Cadets will receive a $3,000 scholarship.
The Scholarship:
The scholarship is presented with the understanding that the recipient will enroll in a 4-year undergraduate program of study at an accredited American college or university, a junior college, an accredited vocational or technical training program, or a First Responders academy. Upon receipt of verification of enrollment and proof of class attendance from the proper school officials, the FSEA will issue a check in the amount of the award which will be forwarded to the college, university, or community college to establish a credit in the name of the recipient.
Restrictions on Use of Scholarship:
There is no restriction for the use of the scholarship. It may be utilized for tuition, books, lab fees, tutoring, room & board, transportation, food, uniforms, etc.
Unacceptable Conduct:
All scholarship recipients are expected to be good citizens of their community. These principles of law and order and morality are supported by the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks. Therefore, unexpended credit is subject to withdrawal by the FSEA if the conduct of the student is contrary to these principles.
Applications Become Property of the FSEA:
After completing this application, please save a copy for your records. All applications become the property of the Florida State Elks Association.
