I am delighted to have the opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and a successful 2020. It has been a busy Elk year for me.  Tom and I feel so fortunate and grateful to have the opportunity to serve our Florida State Elks Association as President and First Lady.

I am proud to say I have been a member of FLOE for over 20 years.  I am equally proud of all the accomplishments I have witnessed. 

Tom and I are big supporters of FLOE.  We see the good work you do at our lodges and we truly enjoy getting to meet so many of our members as we travel the state. Membership matters to our FLOE organization just as it does for our Lodges throughout the state.  I think communication is an important element of growth.  So, the dedicated articles under the heading “It’s All About FLOE” are a wonderful idea. It gives us an opportunity to brag about our accomplishments and let the ladies throughout the state know what we are doing.  If your lodge has an active Ladies organization, Congratulations!  If you don’t have an active organization you can still join FLOE.

The “FLOE ANGEL PROGRAM” is a meaningful fund raising reverse raffle that truly supports Adella’s motto of “Be an Angel in the Life of a Child”.  I encourage everyone to get your lodges as well as the members to buy tickets early.  It’s a win-win program!

Tom and I enjoyed the FLOE Conference this past year and look forward to attending next year.  Last year’s conference in Daytona Beach was just perfect!  Felicia and her committees did an outstanding job.  I encourage everyone to mark your calendars and save the dates Sep 24-26, Lido Beach Resort.  Everyone is invited to attend this conference where we get together to have fun and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our members and FLOE officers.  Hope to see you there.
