Clewiston Elks Lodge Golf Tournament Raises Scholarship Funds for Local Students

On Sept. 23, Clewiston Elks Lodge #1853 held its annual scholarship golf tournament. There were 56 players and more than 25 sponsors, and the event raised more than $6,000 for local high school and college students.

Jupiter Elks Lodge Awards Four Scholarships to High School Seniors

On March 21, Jupiter Elks Lodge #2469 awarded $1,000 scholarships to four high school seniors Proceeds from the weekly charity bingo games fund three scholarships each year. This year, the lodge received a $1,000 donation from a generous member to fund a forth scholar.

Representing Clewiston Elks Lodge #1853 at the southeast regional Soccer Shoot Jan. 29 at the Florida Elks Youth Camp were Sophia Velasquez, state U-8 first place champion, and Charlie Barnes, state U-14 first place champion. He placed second in the regional competition.
