On June 20, Lake Okeechobee Lodge sponsored campers to the Florida Elks Youth Camp using awards funded by the Elks National Foundation.
On June 9, a meet-and-greet was held at Lake Okeechobee Lodge's new home and included a Mother’s Day ceremony and information about the lodge for the public to see.
Faith Paris from Hope Centennial Elementary School won first place in both lodge and district judging for the Elks’ Americanism essay contest. She also placed third in the state in her age division and was given $500 from the Florida State Elks Association, which she proudly displays May 10 at her sponsoring lodge, West Palm Beach.

Jupiter Lodge held its annual Flag Day celebration June 12 which included cars, music, prizes, games and food. The PBSO Color Guard, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Quincy the Eagle, Troop 109, Pack 778 and Pack 157 participated in the event, and All Hooked Up Towing set up “Excessive Force” to fly a large American flag.
