On Jan. 8, members Kevin Biederman, Hollywood Commissioner; Gina Albright, Exalted Ruler; and Jim Blanchard, PDD (pictured) attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony unveiling the city of Hollywood’s new service club sign, located in the heart of the city at Hollywood Boulevard and Interstate 95. The new sign marks the beginning of the city's 100th birthday celebration. This milestone was made possible by the organizations depicted on the sign — Hollywood West Elks Lodge, Hollywood Lions Club, Rotary Club, American Legion Post, Kiwanis Club, Women’s Club and the Jaycees. The Lodge paid $150 toward the sign.
